After defeating his first battle against his rival in the region, Dennis, Maximillion Maimou, the trainer who started his journey from One Island traveled to Vilasee Island where he could train his pokemon quietly. He wanted to get to a place where he would not be bothered by many people and Mortayo City did not fit these requirements. In Vilasee Island, though, he would be able to train quietly, especially in the fields.

And so, with his pokemon inside its pokeball, the trainer walked at the fields in order to search for pokemon to battle and train his pokemon... Who knew what he would encounter at the fields. He would eventually find out...

It was a very quaint scene. The sun was nearly setting. Avian, and insect pokemon were fluttering around. There was a nice, calm, somewhat feminine atmosphere. In the distance, there was a young woman, about Maximillion's age. She had long black hair, and fair skin, wearing what seemed to be a silk dress, which brushed against the flowers and her steps. Next to her, was a red bird-like pokemon, resembling a baby eagle, a shiny rufflet, perhaps. It seemed to follow her around.

The trainer was surprised to see that somebody was around. He did not expect to find a person at the place he went, most importantly because he went there so that he would not find any people at all. However, seeing that the girl had a pokemon with her and interested in seeing her training abilities, the trainer moved towards her. He said "Excuse me. May I have a battle with you?". Normally, it would seem like Maximillion was not himself. He despised trainers who used to travel with their pokemon out of their pokeballs unless it was for training. However, he wanted to see the baby eagle's battle strength and so he did not mention anything except from his question about whether the girl wanted that battle or not...

"Are you always so brash?" The woman giggled "my rufflet is just a baby, but I'll try." She stood up with a basket in her hand, brushing her hair away with the other. She then offers to shake hands with the boy.

"If you hadn't been a lady, I would not shake hands with you." the trainer said in a rude way as he raised his hand in order to shake hands with the female trainer. Then, after he shook hands, he picked up a pokeball from his pockets. The pokeball was the one that contained Elekid, his only partner in the region. With a smile on his face, the trainer threw the pokeball and said "Elekid. Come out for a battle.".

Afterwards, he tossed the pokeball swiftly to the ground and the electric pokemon appeared. It stared with an intimidating look towards the baby eagle pokemon and took a battling stance. It was ready to start the battle. Who would emerge victorious?

"Should we start the battle?" The girl asked, walking 10 yards away. That should be enough space between them. "Okay rufflet!" she said. The rufflet stood in front of its trainer, facing the electric pokemon. It wore a fearsome gaze, almost as though it knew as though it was going to win. Strange how its outlook just changed. "Rufflet, use bulk up!" its trainer commanded. The rufflet appeared to be flexing, puffing out its chest, looking tough, feeling like a boss.

"Thundershock." the trainer said with a serious face and Elekid moved its hands forward. Then, it started emitting sparks from its hands and soon launched them towards Rufflet very fast. The electric type move was super effective against Rufflet, so if it hit it would probably cause great damage... The battle had just started and Maximillion and Elekid were serious. The trainer couldn't wait to see the Rufflet's battling skill and the Elekid couldn't wait to finish its battle with itself as the victor.

The rufflet tried flying up to dodge, but to no avail. The thunder shock hit it hard, knocking it back to the ground. "Get up!" the woman said "rufflet, use wing attack!" The already tired rufflet, made a large strong flap with its wings, sending it straight towards elekid, but dying out quickly.

As Raflet moved towards Elekid with the Wing Attack, the trainer thought "A Wing Attack... I see.". Then, he pointed towards the flying type pokemon and said "Okay Elekid. Intercept the attack with Thundershock.". In no time, the pokemon started charging and launching electricty towards the baby eagle. The attack would cause some more damage if it hit and the trainer hoped that it would be enough to defeat the girl's pokemon. He would learn soon if his pressumption was right or not...

The attacks collided with an explosion, in which the baby pokemon was knocked away. The rufflet began crying, as its trainer began to run towards, and cuddle it. "Oh no, are you okay?" She murmured "You monster!" She ran away crying.
Sun sky was almost dark. The orange is quickly fading into a much darker navy blue. Squaks were heard all around. Now, the only illumination came from the moon, the stars, and the distant city lights. Suddenly, you hear a noise in the trees. Out from it comes a terrifying... SLAKOTH!
