As the trainer walked in the town a young man appeared in front of him. The young man seemed to be around twenty. He was not very tall but not too short either. He had black hair and light blue eyes. He had a sad look on his face, like something wrong was going on. What could be possibly going on? Dennis would have to ask if he wanted to learn... And if he helped the man, who knew what he would learn. What would the trainer do? Would he ask or not? It was up to him to decide what to do... Completely up to him.

Dennis walked up to the young man, and decided to push him aside not saying a word. His cloth clung to his sweaty body, blown by the wind. Strange, how a man would just appear out of nowhere. Perhaps he needed something, or maybe Dennis had done something, or at least someone in his attire. Curiously, Dennis turned back and asked the man "What do you want?" in a soft quiet voice.

"Hm? I want... I want to rechallenge the Gym... But it is impossible!" the trainer said with a sad look on his face. He sighed and continued "I had two battles with the leader today and after losing these two times I was told that I cannot rechallenge the Gym until next week! And not only that, but my team was easily destroyed by the Gym Leader!". Apparently, the man was desperate. He had just lost to a battle with the place's Gym Leader... Now, that was something. If Dennis really wanted, he could pull out information about the Gym Leader's pokemon and think of a strategy... It was up to him to decide what he would do. Would he ask more things or not?

Interesting, I was about to challenge her Dennis thought. "I'll see if I can do anything" is what he was thinking. What he actually did, was simply walk past the man straight to the gym. It didn't matter whether or not the gym leader is stronger than he is, Dennis using only his Ivan can take him down. Hopefully, the gym leader wasn't that strong.

As Dennis approached the Gym, a violet haired girl exited from the main door of the gym and rapidly closed it, locking it with a key that put in a pocket.

The girl turned, noticing the boy, and reserved him a cold stare.
"The gym is closed today. Yes, because *I* am bored. And because *I* say so. I'm not in the mood for battling another passerby, as the incompetent that just challenged me twice made me lose the will to fight today."
Before Dennis could reply anything she added "And so, I'm off to buy myself an ice cream!" The girl started trotting away like a spoiled little brat.

"Hm?" Dennis raised his eyebrows a bit. It seemed as though she is the gym leader. He grabbed the girls arm, somehow out of impulse. "Oh really?" Dennis asked "I'll assure you; I won't be so competent." The trainer shrugged as his dratini coiled around Dennis's other arm.

"D-Don't touch me!" She screamed, her face completely blushed "Who do you think you are!?" added, waving her arms around.
"I said I want an icecream." Her eyes blinked with an evil light and the purple haired girl smirked "If you want a battle, bring me an icecream!" she concluded in a spoiled tone.
"Why are you looking at me like that!? I want my icecream, now!"

Dennis didn't say a word. He simply walked way, subtly turning back to spy at the girl. He was single minded on that battle. IT wouldn't be bad to actually wait a bit, perhaps train, bit no- Dennis dismissed this thought. He wanted that battle. "Ivan, thunder shock." he commanded. Of course, his little dragon didn't actually have a target. It knew what he meant though, With a bit more sense, it looked at its trainer puzzlingly.

The girl stared at Dennis walking away and pouted.
She didn't hear Dennis's order, apparently too busy repeating herself with a note of frustration in her tone: "Didn't you hear what I said!? Bring me an Ice Cream and you'll have your battle!"
She tapped her feet on the ground with her hans crossed.

Dennis wouldn't take no for an answer. He also wasn't going to bend his knees for something he'd already have to work to get to. He looked at the trainer, shaking his head in refusal. "I'll tell you what; if you beat me, I'll buy you an ice cream. If I win, you give me a badge, and you buy me some ice cream." Dennis tried to be a shrewd negotiator this time. He is persistent this time, though he usually would be. "Ivan, you ready?"
